Tae’: Why did you choose now to retire Tracy?
Tracy McGrady: Well, this was my best year in terms of playoff success
Tracy McGrady: And I decided I was no longer a factor so I felt it was time to hang it up
Matt: It was in fact your best year for playoff success. But why not give it one last goes to see if you could go from losing in the Finals, to having that ring?
Tracy McGrady: I didn't want my ring to come as a product of bench riding
Tracy McGrady: I wouldn't have been a factor for that team
Eury Reyes: Tracy I wanna start off by congratulating on your illustrious career and wish you well in your future. By my calculations 1 ring is better than none
Tracy McGrady: Yes but I will still go into the Hall of Fame
Beast Ten: Woah.
Tracy McGrady: The No Ring claim is unjust
Tae’: If only he won a ring.
Beast Ten: Are you confident in that statement?
Tracy McGrady: Yes
Tracy McGrady: If you look at all the work I put in
Tae’: Tracy, to keep it honest, you couldn't lead your team anywhere. Even with a great center in Yao
Beast Ten: I will think otherwise.
Beast Ten: And yes Tae is very correct.
Tracy McGrady: With respect
Tracy McGrady: Yao was always injured
Beast Ten: You couldn't win on your own if your life depended on it,
Eury Reyes: That's not a guarantee. Tracy I would love for you to be in the Hall of Fame but scoring championships aren't the only thing that define a ring
Tracy McGrady: neither could LeBron
Tracy McGrady: Or Kobe
Tracy McGrady: Or Jordan
Tracy McGrady: Nobody can win on their own
Eury Reyes: But LeBron came darn well close to it
Tracy McGrady: Before Jordan had Pippen the Pistons were an insurmountable wall
Beast Ten: LeBron actually made the finals.
Eury Reyes: Closer than you ever did
Beast Ten: And had multiple +60 game win seasons.
Matt: Look at Tracy in his prime. He was one of the greatest scorers that this league has seen. To not let him into the Hall of Fame would be blasphemy.
Tae’: But Kobe won with great centers. You didn't. Don't put your name in the same paragraph as them
Beast Ten: ALL BY HIMSELF
Tracy McGrady: LeBron is an elite talent
Tracy McGrady: I did not have a great center
Tracy McGrady: My center was always on the bench

Eury Reyes: How bout the Cavs shocking 1st pick
Tracy McGrady: I thought it was hilarious
Beast Ten: Cavs always go for the risk reward path. While I wasn't expecting it, I wasn't surprised
Beast Ten: The move somewhat made sense rather than going with Noel anyways
Tracy McGrady: The Cavs had many options that would have been better
Beast Ten: I was expecting McLemore to land with them honestly,
Matt: McLemore would have definitely been the right pick.
Tracy McGrady: A Backup SG or starter like McLemore to compliment Waiters
Tracy McGrady: Waiters is better suited off the bench
Beast Ten: Otto Porter actually would've been the best pick for them.
Eury Reyes: I would say Porter was the very fit but with LeBron possibly signing with them next offseason I see the reason in it
Tracy McGrady: He came off the bench at Cuse
Tracy McGrady: LeBron signing with the Cavs is a joke

Beast Ten: LeBron isn't leaving a team that just won back to back...
Eury Reyes: He has stated he is open to returning

Tracy McGrady: The Lakers are able to sign Kobe at his price because of the jersey sales and tickets that he alone produces
Tracy McGrady: I think he makes 16 mil
Eury Reyes: Melo is not going to give up his best chance to win a championship IMO to join a rebuilding Lakers squad. Neither will LeBron
Tracy McGrady: If they both join are they rebuilding
Tracy McGrady: Or gearing up for a playoff run
Tracy McGrady: Dwight Howard leaving makes the Lakers better
Tracy McGrady: More testosterone in the locker room
Eury Reyes: But it's not certain either will join
Matt: Dwight Howard is old news.
Matt: I feel like we haven't addressed the Pelicans acquisition of Jrue Holiday.

Tracy McGrady: yet both players play there top 2 positions
Beast Ten: Who cares, their considered the future of the NBA,
Matt: Evan Turner has a chance to be something and Thad Young is valuable but with time to develop, Wiggins and Randle could be future All-Stars.
Tracy McGrady: It would have been more logical to trade Turner not Holiday
Tracy McGrady: Holiday doesn't make this team win
